Review:
Sweden is good. Sweden is known for creating clean, empty and sometimes boring designs, with large black & white sans typography and images of blue seas and empty forests. 19 year old Andreas Holmström's portfolio site is no exception from the Scandinavian Way
. The uniqueness of the layout is noteworthy and you can easily tell the designer has a european background as it departs from the American
blog-styled design and communicates in a clear, understated way. The code is clean, simple and safe with a touch of perfection. Just like volvo.

Nice, really slick. It's good to see a site go with greyspace rather than whitespace. The navigation makes you curious to see what's behind the little teaser strip you're shown.
And the guy's only 19! Mad skillz!
The only thing I really don't like is the unevenness of the the navigation. Some rollovers are longer than others. I would have liked to have seen a universal width.
Good use of white/grey text on black/dark grey. Difficult to pull off online without sacrificing readability. Well done. And a great portfolio, especially for a 19 year old.
It's easy to miss the numbered navigation on the top right of the portfolio images however, meaning a visitor misses some excellent work examples.
