Review:

A smooth brown, almost sepia tone color palette, with just a touch of blues and greens that is almost as if it were watercolors dripped onto the page. Varying headers are used on the Gira, Comunidad, and Showroom pages to add some spicy variety. This is really a necessary feature when using large headers. Otherwise, it might be wiser to downsize the headers on subsequent pages. Quite a variety of font selections make up the entire layout, with the main menu using Rockwell Bold images and the page titles also using Rockwell served up with sIFR.

Clicking the mp3 player beneath the sidebar menu loads a small popup song player skinned to perfection with the controls matching those of the menu graphic. Here you can sample all of the tracks of Antonio's latest effort "Cadizfornia", clicking the song titles loads the tracks from an external xml playlist, or they will cycle automatically. Don't miss the Showroom Flash video clips featuring the same art and style as the website, for an added "Wow"! Also the Foto gallery, which uses a pop-up stock flash gallery with fade transitons. I don't mind the popup since it helps to keep track of all of the media (audio & visual) being served, and makes it possible to keep the mp3 player, photo gallery, and main website all loaded for multi-tasking.

Finally the stylesheets are surprisingly sparse, representing good solid layout techniques, and presentational choices.

To me the attention to details and the added touches, make this site a visual treat. I don't follow the latin music scene too much, but from the looks of this website, it should keep crooner & heartthrob young Antonio Orozco at the forefront of the genre, even though this site is somewhat of a showstopper, but as everyone knows "the show must go on"...
