Review:
At first I thought this site was promoting childrens books, but further browsing proved me wrong. The layout and navigation concept for this site is truly unique and the colors are playful and comfortable. The hand-drawn graphic elements gives the site a relaxed and almost childish profile. I must honestly say that the visual design does not quite do it for me, but the uniqueness and the rock-solid code gives it a gallery position. Its always refreshing to see something out of the ordinary.

:-) yes, this site is really unique - especially when you use an Opera browser
Is Opera a real browser ? :)
(jmby, there is some bugs for your site in Safari)
Very original. But layout corrupted in Opera.
The layout problem in Opera is a problem with Opera's implemenation of nested floats, that is fixed in Opera 7.60 Preview 1. http://snapshot.opera.com/windows/w760p1.html
(Some little float problems remain on the site in Opera 7.60, but these are really minor and do not impact usability and browsability -- they are mainly just weird little gaps between floated elements.)
Just in case, anyone know of a usable fix/tweak that could be used to work around Opera 7.50's nested float problem?
I tried to access this site with Netscape 7.1 and was told my browser was too old! Isn't it strange to promote a site with such limitations?
Thierry: That sounds really bad, I didnt know that since I havent tried the site in NN7. I will re-review the site tomorrow.
Hello,
first, thanks for this review.
Concerning Opera and Netscape Navigator, THE problem is that the site is still in developpement, so we haven't resolved bugs with these browsers yet...
And the site has only been online for 3 days...
(There were bugs in NN 7.0 that we haven't encountered in newer versions so we wongrly filter NN 7.* and we will adjust this soon)
Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Very interesting site. Very clean code and layout-wise. My only suggestion is that if it is a professional site, maybe go for a more professional background? Other than that...good work.
