Is it just me, or does it seem like it's getting easier and easier to make minimal sites that make MORE of an impact, are smarter, and more efficient?

ACK! Where was this site when I needed a reference! I really like how Mr. Moll divided the columns cleanly with minimal use of coloured blocks and borders. I was working on a site for a client and I was looking for sites like these! He did an excellent job laying the information-intensive site into a very clean, usable layout! Definitely one of my favourites!

Love the site, especially the headers with diagonal backgrounds. One quip though: the text on the main paige is a bit faint for my liking, and a site about communication should be easy to read. Otherwise i think the clear, dynamic layout speaks well for the site's purpose. The code is nice and lean too.

Good point, Michael. The light gray text may be a little bit too light.

The site can't really be faulted. It doesn't make me go 'wow' in terms of the look, but I don't think that is a bad thing when you take into consideration the subject matter. 'Intelligent' and 'Appropriate' are words that spring to mind.

I think it looks great. Clean, elegant and fits the business without looking cliched or cloned from similar sites in that industry. Awesome work, Cameron!

Does the identity remind anyone else quite a bit of Cingular Wireless? With the forms, colors, and typography together I immediately thought of Cingular. Not to say it's badly done by any means but I wonder if the Moll noticed the similarity.

Nothing really great abt this site. I like the simple layout - but nothing unique.

Who said standards were about accessibility ? As with many websites featured here, the choice for me is to either make the effort to read the small font, or disable CSS entirely [*], because the layout breaks everything when I up the font size.

I know it's hard to design for everyone, but expecting everyone to read 12px font is a bit much (even on 800x640 display)! Some flexibility to up the font size a few notches ? Alternative stylesheet ? Do something !

[*] And think of all those who've no clue about CSS or how to disable it !

Yeah, the way it degrades when you up the text size is pretty appalling. It is difficult to make layouts that work well with a variety of text sizes, but surely it can be done better than this! A real pity, because for me it ruins what's otherwise quite a nice, clean design with good presentation of the information.

Amazing what a controlled colors and simple borders can do for a layout. Amazing work.

I'm a sucker for this minimalist stuff so I'm giving it a 9. People always tend to be underwhelmed by this kind of almost "zen" simplicity but it's a lot harder to get right then just filling up your pages with background graphics. It takes balls to go this lean ;-)

Love the site. Lovely clean layout. On the text sizing issue; if you look through the other sites in this gallery, quite a few 'break' under text enlargment conditions. Beyond the entry page, i think the layout of this site copes well.

The best sites are those that do not require pop-ups or Google-ads to make an impact on the net or on society. Your site and craigslist come to mind.

It is a well-designed site, but I too had the feeling I was on the Cingular Wireless site.
