Review:
I like portfolio sites that actually have something to show. So many people tend to forget that content is still king and a portfolio site isn't really a portfolio until you have some stuff to put in there. Kryzcom is a german designer with some impressive work up his sleeve, all wrapped up in a nice, simple and clean website built with web standards and CSS. I really like the menu and how it changes in the :hover, :active and :visited states. I also like the bright blue color that breaks the milky suite. One thing bothers me though, the borders around the blue squares are a bit annoying. It just doesnt fit the rest of the site, I think he would be better off without them.

On a more prosaic note, what about the Javascript-driven menu ?
There's no alternative for the non javascript people, they cannot navigate the site !
For instance, the menu could be left hanging open if Javascript is disabled.
(that's what i did for www.pulsomatic.com)
The font size is set in pixel in the CSS files... Because of IE/Win buggy implementation, the text won't resize in that browser
Spot on manu, I agree. Instead of using the .off { display: none } in his stylesheet, he could have written a simple javascript somewhere in the header that hides the .off class using document.write
I love the site. The three column layout really interests me, especially how they are completely independant from one another. I also like how the menu-bar is interactive, and the universal plus smybol makes it clear there is more.
I do feel however the site lacks contrast. While I generally like sites without a ton of contrast I think this one could do with a bit more... strictly speaking colors.
Actually I came across that site over 1yr ago and was featured in cssVault back in Nov-2003.
Its a gud design and gives the 3 column layouts a different feel
