Review:

There's currently all this talk about redefining the box, getting out of the "blog" or "typical" website look and creating something different. But there's definitely something to be said about people who take a look at the box and say, "Hey, this isn't too bad" and works magic off what they have.

I've said it time and again--it's always in the details. At first glance, some may cry, "Too many images!" but the site degrades just fine as the images are called through the CSS. He uses some of those images to "break" out of the box, like in his pull-out text in the right-hand sidebar, and the floating orange postcard image in another page. And frankly, using so many images is rather daring in a CSS-driven site.

I enjoy that his contact form is at the bottom of every page, ready for easy access. Since most of his page contact is brief and succint, it's easy to find.

I wonder, however, how much thought was put into the typographic elements of the site. The type elements in his header don't match with the body elements, as it seems like he doesn't know whether he wants to use a bold condensed sans-serif or a regular/thin weight sans-serif as headers. I suggest he choose one to keep it consistent.

a nice design very simple with little graphic elements that made the interface look very good. The color sheme is also well chosen...great job

Great colour palette and nice subtle analogue touch. It's also nice to see that all pages boast a different element and I like how they put the contact form in every page.

Thanks for the reviews! Can anyone explain why weppages for yourself are so hard to do? We really fiddled around with it for some time. So it's good to see, it was worth the struggle ... ;-)

Sorry. My first negative review. I have seen this layout done dozens of times and it just looks cloned.

What layout would that be Jackie? Two columns? Just because I site has a 2 column layout doesn't mean it's cloned. I think it's actually pretty unique. The notes on the "Leistungen" page and the orange thingy that says something in a language I can't read on the "Angebot" page both stand out nicely.

Wonder if I'm the first person here who doesn't like the masthead? The grey, indistinct image with subtle lines gives an impression of dirt, which is further intensified in the selected areas of the navigation. Just as in the black box in the top with the slogan.

The navigation is not best at all — a bolder text might improve it, however, IMO, the solution here is not very good.

Didn't mean to insult anyone.

Best wishes.
