I like the site, but I think it requires a lot of the user -- More than most people are willing to deal with on the web.

Nice work in the portfolio, but the site is just messy. No idea where I am, where I should go next, lacks flow.

Might be different on another day, but I would not be happy if I had to spend any length of time here.

Huh?? I like the graphics, but there didn't seem to be much else. I couldn't go anywhere and didn't even know where to go.

While the approach is interesting, I found myself ending up rather annoyed when attempting to navigate. It feels that the designer was trying to be a little too cutesy with it and it comes across as "trying to be cutting edge". With a little more of a traditional navigation scheme, I think it could be very stylish without being full of itself.

I cannot pick out why this site was chosen to be reviewed. The navigation is confusing.

I was confused too, trying to make sense of the initial bottom menu. I went back and clicked the "EN" link and finally found the content. Once there I began to see why David likes it so much...

Maybe I'm missing something? But the only thing I see is a big image in the middle that when clicked on changes and a link to web design with a big logo on the page then clicking on the peoples names just tries to email them.

Hmm -Just clicked back on it and went back in..Now some thing are happening..Maybe they were working on it 5 minutes ago. Actually pretty nice site.

David changed the link so that we're immediately presented with the 'Steven Spielberg-esque' intro page. Sneaky sneaky.

AMAZING! David, I absolutely love this site and I'm glad I was introduced to it. The site is deep, has much content, and is rich in color that matches the black background. The only downside is that I would have made the navigation a little easier to follow.

The real downside is that I'm actually working on a site with that extended/blurred look from an image... so now it looks like I'm copying/pirating :(. Oh well, they beat me to it first. Good site!!!!!

I don't fully understand how inline CSS works nor the power it has - especially with how it reads the color of the site and subsequently picks the navigation colors based on it.

Hi, I'm the designer of the site. First off, thanks for all the comments. I've already taken the frontpage confusion comments at heart, and changed the link. Thing is, what most of you described was caused by blocking cookies. I've solved that now; David could you change the link back to / again?

I forgot to mention that the site follows a day and nighttime scheme, so if it's (local time for the designer) between sunrise and sunset, the site will feature a white background, at night there will be a black background. It's meant te reflect different moods. The bright white version is somewhat more informative, open and formal. While at night it's a bit obscure and informal.

i like the layout and setup of the site. the pixel stretch effect is a little dated though... but still used well.

It's pretty messed up in Opera...

This is a verry good site, but remember :

don't fuck with mr_zero

With his new site, Maurice Mentjens shows again he's one of the most talented designers in the world at the moment. Take a look at the interiors of for example Sirius and Thaiphoon, and you absolutely know I am right. Ofcourse all his works are fabulous, and definitely show he is a genius master at work!!!

Wow, that's a badly broken site. It looks a little better in IE than in Opera, but it's still hard to work up the enthusiasm to figure out what it's all about. I followed the reviwer's instructions, and although the screen changed a few times I'm still not a lot wiser.

On the plus side, at least it didn't have a flash introduction I had to skip. Or perhaps that was the flash introduction and I just didn't randomly click enough to get out of it.

In response to the Opera issues, it has been taken care of now. The sneaky part was that Opera can identify itself as any other user agent out there.

Otherwise I can't help but wonder how hard it can be to think a bit 'out of the box' on a site that clearly serves another purpose than a blog or company website; maybe it's somewhat different from the usual entries here.

Nonetheless, the feedback has been really valuable and helped to improve upon some accessability issue I didn't foresee. Thanks.
