Review:
At first glance, this site seemed like a true rip off from . After a while though, I realised that Douglas himself did the design, he was just re-using a lot of the elements from previous projects. It's a very nicely layed out site with true Bowman colors and nice logo. Tight, readable, accessible and visually pleasing. However, it still feels like a subdomain to stopdesign and the similarities are just too many... or are they? Tell me what you think.

The design is very easy on the eye, elegant 3 columns & not over designed at all. To me this site just works. Although on 2 column pages, it does look a little dull!
Who cares if it looks similar, if it looks good?
uhmmmm... nice site... clean and lean.
and, at least on the surface, it doesn't look to similar to stopdesign (actually i can barely see any similarities beside general color tones).
simple but very nice!;)
items view -> grid view and list view - every time I open new selection from categories I have to choose again grid view or list view.
in previous comment - that's I don't like
With the sudden (at least it seems sudden to me with more and more CSS galleries showing up) burst of standards-compliant sites and general web creativity, there are a whole lot of CSS designers designing now.
It's not copying, it's inspiration. So they happened to use the same font and general colors: but how many fonts are actually standards compliant and how many other color schemes look good together?
Jeff Clark: its not copying nor inspiration. It is the same designer. But if it was another designer, it would be very close to copying IMO.
At first glance to me, I could have sworn I was looking at Scrivs' Whitespace with new colours up top...
stylegala: Oye. Apparently I'm an idiot and didn't read the entire entry noting that it was made by the same designer. Sorry for the incredibly ridiculous post :-)
