Review:

I can't speak for the other reviewers here, but when I'm browsing through recent submissions, what I'm really looking for is a design that stands out from the rest, both in concept and execution. What grabbed my attention about this site is that it doesn't particularly look standards-compliant. I love that in a site design.

The code is very clean and well-composed, apart from a couple of typos and the occasional ampersand. The developer did a fairly good job of avoiding unnecessary class names -- divitis and overclassing are two of the most common problems I see in the other sites submitted here.

Congratulations to Owen and the MMG guys on a job well done.

Good site. Strong, playful colours and a logical, easy to use layout. And, as James said, it doesn't look like a standards compliant website.

One problem is that the "Hot Products" on the home page is a list of links to PDF files--without warning users. They should ad a PDF icon and let us know each file's size if possible.

Wow, love those colours. Especially the nav bar.

I wish they could provide a visual indication of the current location within the site. The navigation doesn't use highlights, so perhaps a breadcrumb trail?

It's evident that a lot of thought went into this site. I like its clean, cutting-edge look. The colors are non-standard, mix extremely well together, and really make the site pop.

I do agree with Todd regarding the "Hot Products" needing a PDF icon and corresponding file size. On the other hand, I can understand any reluctance to do so for the sake of "keeping things clean and image-free."

The bottom-line: It's a very cool site.

It uses a "hybrid drop-down" style menu. These get quite complicated once you try to show the current link, so maybe that's why they left it off.

Very nice site though, although the site uses lots of small images as part of the layout note the lack of banner/content photographs/images etc - It's rare to see a site that's almost totally missing content images yet looks so good!

Well done to the designer.

I found the large amount of brick red a bit overpowering and uncomfortable. other than that, a good design.

Interesting and well designed and coded site. I´m a little bit confused, because the content with the footer is above the left news.
