Review:

Not exactly sparkling wild, but a nice calm smooth design is characterizing the NexCore Group site. I like the big clickable boxes and the solid use of futura. Nicely layed out and good architecture. The left menu on red background is maybe a bit dark for some screens. The major drawback is the use of tables in some sections where divs would be more appropriate, but Im going to let that slip this time. Also, it would be nice to see some header text behind the graphics when stylesheets are turned off.

I agree that the tables (particularly for the sidenav) could be replaced, but the UL structure I had originally used failed to hold up well on IE5/Win. We'll definitely replace the large graphic with something better semantically (H1 if possible) when time allows.

Silly IE5... Looks pretty good, though. Nice and clean. The Copyright footer looks a little awkward on some pages, though. Looks great otherwise.

I like the layout of the page and the fact that the big clickable boxes aren't just layed out horizontally across the page. Also like the red/gold colors.

The Copyright footer on the homepage breaks the layout in Safari.

That's odd -- it was developed in Safari and Camino on Mac OS X (10.3). I'm not seeing a problem here. May be a problem in older versions of Safari.

Really clean and focused on usability, excellent use of color to make navigation bars and other important elements stand out.

The footer on the homepage looks odd in Firefox/win2k. I also noticed that the layout breaks at resize in Firefox. Probably overflow: hidden would fix it. Or throwing out that table.

Tables, no header text on graphics, breaks up in FF...a lot of looseness in terms of webstandards! But hey I don't make the submission rules. Puzzles me this one.
