Review:
This site was first featured in the "almost made it" section, but I changed my mind. I really like the original menu concept and the graphic analogue details on this site. Major drawbacks are the photography and layout/typography inside the folder - I find the main theme and header the most exciting. Nicely done.

Penzion Roza...nice style :)
I find the gray and the body pattern a little much, the color a little weird with it's contrast, as well as the graphics seem like they are a bit rough. But a good site, nonetheless.

I find the overall theme fitting for a boarding house; bet they post messages on a simliar board inside the house! I don't have a problem with the typography. With such rich colors in the header, the bland gray in the body seems off. For me, there's a bit too much wasted space on many of the sub pages.
For starters, the crits: space could've been used better on the some of the pages, some of the photography is drab, and thinking as a potential visitor, I would say that there's not enough information generally about the place here. I wasn't able to locate exactly where Vimperk is in the Czech Rep from the map on the site alone (shame on me, should have known). But! Really this is a nice site. Anyone used to looking at sites of this kind will appreciate just how great this is in comparison.
