Review:

There’s a lot to like about the Quo Consulting site. Having valid xhtml (1.0 strict) is a good start. Having excellent design, layout and typography keeps the ball rolling. Topping it all off is a nice company brand identity. The combined result is a darn good website.

The dark colored structure combined with soft gradients offers an appealing and organic look and feel. The subtleties of shading are nice and the dark background sets off the portfolio content nicely. The light tan text easy on the eyes; a much better choice than stark white text. The portfolio utilizes a nice Flash application. It is surely not the most accessible choice, but nice nonetheless.

One unfortunate aspect of the site is the poor Page Rank; likely due to the minimal copy and the use of Flash for the portfolio. The layout is appealing and the mainpage is a nice departure from the now clichéd blog-style composition. Each page is short and concise. The contact form on each interior page is a nice touch. Overall, I’d say that this is an excellent bit of work.

I love sites that challenge the norm. The whole Black Text, White Background Blog Format grows weary.

I'm also a huge fan of this type of Interface design. Creating a vivid interface with colors and typography rather than presenting flashing 3D-graphics.

Excellent little site. Still some things bugging me about accessability. The navigation for instance is a prime target to put later in the source order especially in a layout like this, yet they keep it on top.

The portfolio flash is a clever usage of by Todd Dominey. Very nice colors, and creative layout.

Sexy. I love brown and pink color schemes.

I like your logo. I like the unobtrusive flash.

Nice site!

I think this site looks great! It's very simple and direct which clients appreciate. The color of the copyright text is barely readable and I didn't see any contact us page. The link went back to the homepage.

I'm a big fan of the colors and the layout. Just a tip for the developer if they are reading this: The contact link at the bottom brings me back to the home page. I don't know if that's what you want, but if it isn't (which is what I thought), then just letting you know.

What I love about it is that it's symmetrical with asymmetrical elements--it's definitely a grid-based design but it's nice to see that the navigation is off to the side (following the grid) as opposed to dead-centre or flush left all the time. Also liking how their contact form is available in their portfolio section of their website, with the call to action slightly different to fit the page.

I'm loving this, even though at times I feel as if there is too much brown. I also wish that I was able to increase the font size as on my resolution, it's a bit small to read in some spots. The text color in the footer, specifically for the copyright, is very hard to read.

Another site using what I call ('cos I haven't heard a name for it yet) "floating element" design. There's no "containing" design element holding everything together. I like it. I'm a fan of brown and pink together as well. Very au courant color pairing. Check out for another example of "floating element" web design. Nice job!

Hi there, thanks for all the feedback so far - it's much appreciated and we've implemented a couple of the suggestions put forward so far. Thanks!

Beautiful site - clean, simple, to the point. Also, displaying projects in flash works very well.

I am, however, a little concerned about the colors. Some parts of text are hardly readable, especialy for those with damaged sight. I would suggest making some more contrast to it.

Otherwise, magnificent!

Well first of all i thought the site was a little mediocre. You must excuse me I am somewhat of a novice of what a web-site should use as media, I always thought it was to deliver a message. I wanted to know where they were located, knowlege about the company and it employess starting at the president all the way down. Thats what a web site should include, everything that evolves and revolves around that company. gracias
