Review:

It's hard not to have your design look good when you're showing off massive, juicy burgers, but Nathan (whom you might know from Playground Blues) didn't let that stop him from putting a lot of love and attention into this design.

There's not much to say about this site that I haven't said about others before. It's not necessarily a remarkable technical achievement, but it's a solid example of taking an eye for design and a mind for code and applying them to a real-world corporate situation.

My only hesitation in posting this is that I know designers often get a ton of freelance work out of these features, and I don't want you guys to bother him because I'd like to hire him myself!

It's not my favourite, but does look quite nice. I think it does what it's supposed to do very well, and fits the theme perfectly.

Nice site, congrats to the designer/dev.

Wasnt this site featured in another Gallery last week? Not bad considering you say you dont feature sites that have already been featured elsewhere.

Damn, that colossal burger looks good... kinda makes me wish I was an American! Great site though. Fantastic use of textures (I especially like the background pattern - not too overpowering but perfect for the subject matter). Code is equally as nice to look at. Well done!!

It's featured on cssvault also. The looping flash annoys me and makes my head hurt. It's garish and sore on the eyes - the colour and the layout. Not my cup of tea and I certainly don't wish I was an american. Give me fish and chips any day.

Subject matter aside - this is, indeed, a great example of web design and development. Worthy of a feature on all css showcase type sites an' that ...

Thanks for all the great feedback. I wanted to mention that this site wouldn't have been possible if it weren't for Shawn Hill, Brandon Wilson, Adam Seitz, Anthony Magliano, Travis Beckham, Derek Badsky, Natalie Saunders and the whole BR account team. Thanks again :)

Rollovers are just way too subtle... either change the text or leave it alone. I can't stand it when I have to question whether I saw the text change color when I rolled over it.

Very impressive but this really begins to ask questions about the role of a Web Designer. Are Web Designers dead? I mean are we expected to do the role of Graphic Designers and advanced Scripting programmers? You never see a job for a “Client Side Scripter” advertised.

The site is very well done! The web developer has nothing to do with the food service all over the country. Hello, people!

I've seen more bad comments, than good on this webpage. I work at a Ruby Tuesday Emory Road (Knoxville, TN), and I personally believe that if there is even the slightest problem with anything in ANY dining experience, than one should immediatly tell a manager. Ruby Tuesday is always centered around the guests leaving happy. If anything obstructs this, than find a manager, they will be more than happy to make your dining experience better. Don't just post it on a website. Deal with the problem directly. As for to-go, the store that one gentleman keeps having problems with, the To-Go Salespeople are supposed to call back all their guests to make sure their meals were ok. You should call that store and tell the managers that. Thanks.

There is only one thing that disturbs me at this website: The headerflash. It's just over the top and far beyond beeing believable. Ok, it's true, you always have to show things better as they are irl, but u just can't overdo it.

By the time they stopped worshiping their freshly-made burger, it must be cold ;)

The rest of the site is well done and is what I expect of a good burger site. It realy makes you wanna go there and have a burger :)

All I want to say in response to your comment on "being a dinosaur", George, is that your patronage and $5.00 tip is NOT worth your server losing her job. It's silly for you to think that she makes to rules or that she should be the one to break them just because you forgot your ID. She was following a policy that she did not have any say in making, so don't penalize her. And secondly, not patronizing a chain simply because they wouldn't serve you alcohol without ID is ridiculous! Just take your ID. By law the person who serves you alcohol has to check your ID even if you look 100yrs old. Whether the person at the state store does it or not... it's not Ruby Tuesday fault that you forgot your ID. Sorry!

I commented on this site a long time ago. Now, reading other people's comments, I feel the need to add. THIS PAGE IS NOT FOR COMPLAINTS ABOUT RUBY TUESDAY'S SERVICE! IT'S ABOUT THE DESIGN WORK ON THE ABOVE REFERENCED PAGE! Weird!

I when to the site for Ruby Tuesday and informed them of the occurrence I had on Oct 14 at #2960 location involving a mouse running around the drink area near the kitchen. I informed the first person we saw and she said she would inform the manager and have him come over.He never did until I asked our waitress as I was paying my check for his name. I waited he finally came over and stated yeah he saw a mouse earlier that day.He didn't seem concern about it. I can't forget it and I don't think I'll ever go into another Ruby Tuesday knowing they care very little about health risk of their customers
