Review:

tells me that secure software has re-designed their site as a part of an entire identity suite for Secure Software. I like the design, the colors are distinct and clear. The background uses the oh-so-popular-in-the-90s minimal data text effect to create a techy vibe to the site. The similarities with macromedia and other related sites could be an issue, but then again, sites like this shouldn't aim to be original. Clean code with comments and nice use of sIFR. I don't like the front image though, it is very busy and doesn't work well with the otherwise calm design. And what's up with the _underscore?

Nice, clean, professional look but the layout is a little confusing. Except for the picture, nothing else really stands out on the paqe.

The headings are all rather tiny. The rest of the text on the page is all the same size and a third of it is underlined. If the purpose of this site is to advertise their products then I would say they need to make it more readable.

I hate to point it out, but the banner at the top of the page is practically empty and looks unfinished.

Well, if you're going to copy a site design, it might as well be a good one... www.purevolume.com

Didn't I just post that it looked similar to purevolume.com from Neubix? Did you delete it, or did I just not click submit properly:)?

Either way, I agree -- it's a drastically similar layout.

I agree that this site does share a look with others around the web--but I think this is more of a result of everyone taking inspiration from Macromedia rather than Secure using Purevolume's (or a host of others) design.

And while it is a fine site, I agree with Tim in that they do seem to be afraid to focus on a specific product or idea. This may be the result of a corporate turf war--as everyone likes top billing on a site's front page.

The site produces a nice impression. The only thing that I don't like is the CodeAssure column with tha gradient background for each cell - it seems to be too annoying.

I dunno, the logo looks like something a thief would wear, and if that company is supposed to be selling security it sure seems like a bad design for a logo. It makes me think of them of crooks or criminals, and not a security company. I think the logo needs to go. It seems at odds with the design of the site, it says "We're going to steal something" to me.
