Review:

The Daily Flight did a quiet redesign in june with great results. This is a perfect example of a wonderful blend between classic graphic design and simple web standards. It is also a good example of achieving a real magazine feel without adding paper backgrounds or torned edges. The typography is wonderufully executed and rarely seen on the web and the overall experience is very appealing. The image gallery has another not so appealing design, and I would really like to see some images inside the articles.

The background color is not so good though.

The interesting thing about the design is the lack of design images. Just try disabling images in your browser. So I see it as a nice experiment, but not really that great looking.
