Review:

I like this site, it appeals to me. But beyond the subjective, the site has a lot going for it.

1. Although it is managed with Wordpress, the designers do a great job of avoiding the typical blog layout.

2. The navigation keeps the site very clean and very usable. The addition of position: fixed is an added bonus.

3. Typography and spacing seem very airy and light. Maybe someone has been reading Mark Boulton's grid system series? :)

4. What two-person studio goes to the trouble of having a bilingual site? Bonus points for that.

5. Fluid layout. The font resizer widget works well too.

6. Code is very tight, no div-itis, but they do have a lot of meta information. They have given focus to accessibility controls and the site still looks great with CSS turned off.

7. They do a lot of great work in a variety of mediums.

One strike against them... The light gray type in some areas makes legibility a bit of work. Nice, solid addition to the Stylegala Gallery.

Love the aesthetic, as I just personally like variations on gray. In fact I like a lot of things about this site. But I hate the awful scrolling behavior. C'est la vie. Good work from a design standpoint.

Nice layout, the horizontal bar is a nice touch and holds it together. Navigation is good, with the tabs to take you back to section & move forward/back. I expected their main logo on the far left to do something but no....maybe it could be made less colorful and inviting to click!

Also on a personal note I think the type should be something other than Trebuchet, as it doesn't look all that professional - perhaps Verdana.

it is strange, that Andy dislikes the scrolling behavior - that´s the feature I like best about this website!

the website has a nice, open layout – and I am happy to see that the content is NOT centered like almost all other current websites...

Aside from the layout I have to comment on the scrolling behavior. Like with many fixed backgrounds the scrolling is tremendously slow in firefox. At least in my version on xp, firefox 1.0. Really something to look into as the scrolling makes this website very hard to navigate in Firefox.

we never noticed any strange scrolling behavior with firefox 1.07 (neither on osx nor windows2000/xp)! we tested our website on a "real" 3 year old windows-xp laptop and on a virtual pc running windows 2000. the scrolling worked without any problems...

does anybody encounter similar problems like the ones Pascal mentioned above? if so, what version of firefox are you using?

thanks for all the feedback!

Sweet graphics. So sharp it made me feel like I was looking at an HDTV!

The greys washing out for me over eachother did not give a clear enough border though and I would suggest using at least a vexing corner in the faded areas to add some definition.

Nice job though.

The design seems very clear. I like the font and the gray colors choosed. But a negative point : I think it would be better if there were more colors, because some pages looks a little sad, maye a little more green, and a little orange.

Other positive points :

- I's cool to have an english version.

- the lines in the menu to indicate the location

- the naviation very simple

Something emtpy there, on the header and right side, you could fill out with graphics that empy part, or sketch the page up. The rest is ok
