Review:
Nazarin Hamid hosts a very impressive portfolio on his site . Nice graphic twists makes the design unique, yet traditional and sober. The code looks tidy as well, except for some minor markup issues, such as a list for the portfolio menu instead of multiple p tags. The portfolio pieces speak for themselves, and the color scheme makes me want to drink lager in an Austrian ski cabin. And that's a good thing.

Um.. I may be mistaken, but is this not the site of Mr. Nazarin Hamid (of Gapers Block and Absenter fame)?
may want to double-check your sources. :)
Lovely site. The colour scheme is excellent and I really like the way things are structured along four distinct vertical columns (see the MEMO part of the site).
One thing though; Kenan Hebert? I thought his name was Nazarin Hamid.
Sorry for the name confusion, the correct name should of course be Nazarin Hamid and nothing else. Corrected now. Thanks for the heads up.
Mmmm, makes me want a chocolate bar. Yum. I especially appreciate the subtle use of Flash in the banner to rotate through pictures. Doesn't bonk you on the head yet adds that extra something. Nice.
I'm really diggin' on this site. The colors make me feel very warm, and while there is not a whole lot of negative space, the site doesn't feel cluttered. And of course, the work is great as well.
I'm not saying it's a rip by any stretch of the imagination but both the site and the portfolio mimic a lot of stuff done by Dept3.
Uses the same fonts and colours.
