Review:
From the forum integration to the blog this site has "ease of use" written all over it. The purists will say the CSS does not validate and of course they are correct but this site does just about everything well. The colors are inviting and the clean lines make it feel fresh. The layout is intuitive. The typeface is easy to read and suits the intended high-tec audience.
As an innovative application, it speaks to developers as well as web site owners. It seems that as the world gets smaller, so do the devices we surf the net with. Applications like this can only bring you closer to your audience. On the net that is a good thing.
Note from Designer:
Widsets is a combined application and service that enables 'widgets' on a wide variety of mobile phones. Widgets are micro-applications intended to perform a single function and have been popularized by their inclusion in Apple OS X and Yahoo's Widget services.

Clean & dare I say minimal.
Interesting to see what all is in the stylesheet, almost 20k of CSS in use. Just a couple of javascripts on the homepage. Jcore & Lift, of course theres some AJAXiness going on.
I like the flash movie showing the mobile screenshots, since I don't have a mobile yet. :( A nice resource for anyone wanting to design something for wireless. Nice site.
Nice, clean and great.
I really liked this one. It's clean in terms of presentation, but more importantly, everything is where I expect it to be. (Something that seems to becoming a bit of a lost art these days, as we clamber to make out sites the most unique on the web.)
If I could levy one small grumble, it would be that, from the homepage, it doesn't tell me a great deal. In fact, it tells me nothing. However, being in the age-group that I am (37) may mean that I'm not supposed to "get it" visually.
I do particularly like the consistently coloured buttons, both in the navigation column, and in the pages. It means that I instantly know where the "action points" are.
As the submitter originally pointed out, it really does have ease-of-use written all over it. That quality alone, in my book, beats any latest-breaking design trend that might happen to be fashionable this week.
I like the design and I like the product. I am actually developing a similar site for a new project by an MIT startup that works pretty much the same way, except they are also building their own device to run it on.
I would have to agree with the ease of use, and since they are combining a seemingly limitless amount of sites into a single interface I guess simplicity should be their primary concern. A strong use of colors through out and a simple layout of the product descriptions makes this a great site.
Hm, ok, the design fits the needs, nice, clean, not world shocking, but just what you expect it to be. Nice work of the developers.
Nice and clean, but this website still needs something to become an very good work.
I'm quite disappointed for the missing hover state on the navigation menu, just below the flash animation.
I like the overall look of the site. It is not too busy and is easy to follow. They do a good job of separating the content from the graphics. There were a few minor issues that still could be under construction, but on the main page where there are 5 or 6 big buttons...the red ones...they have no hover state? They have such nice buttons everywhere else but these MAIN buttons? And they have a repeating gray box that went down the left hand side of my screen that was funny to the overall feel of the site.
Overall, well done.
Thanks,
Seth

Good use of technology and design skill. I love the flash but also the way it degrades gracefully when no flash is installed.
Good effort all around!!!!
Well I have nothing to say about the design, since it has all been said already. All I can say is... wow, I wish I had that on my phone!
Good design, clean and simple. Generally I like this site.
Going back through the site recently I noticed how much I dislike the way their organize their library section. I instinctively want to use my browser back button and when I do I have to start my search or browsing all over again. Its nice but a bit counter-intuitive.
Keep it simple... easy on the eye, clean, nice overall feeling. maybe the red is a little bit to red...
Well everything has been allready said so all I can say is good to see some sites from Finland here also...
Overall very nice and clean and I love the gradual fade of the mouse over on the red buttons. If I must have a minor gripe with the site then it must be the bottom left empty grey box that expands to the edge of the browser. I would simply not have it.
