A BBEdit-killer? Not quite. The much-anticipated folding feature is poorly implemented (it seems the closing tag detection is either too greedy or non-existent) and its find and replace can’t even come close to BBEdit. Give it another point release…

BBEdit is, first and foremost, a text editor. It can transform, convert, search, replace, re-order, and otherwise manipulate text in fairly astonishing ways; it can perform lengthy sequences of these text manipulations in any order you specify, and it can do it all across several files at the same time, working in the background while you do something else.
Actually BBEdit is a powerful general-purpose text editor with a strong Macintosh heritage.
I just stick with the tried and true - word 2003 - works just fine. The reason is because although i havent used BBEdit myself is that my co-workers give me mixed reviews about it. I promise to try it on my notebook and report my opinions in the future...
