Being a New Orleanian myself, I must say that it is hard to find work, here, contract or otherwise. I take solice in knowing that the city will come around one day. I just hope I can afford to hold out through thesetring times.

Lucky for me my house is intact and my wife found a teaching job, or i might be at Walmart ;)
