Someone's been taking cues from the PGA 2005 site ( www.pga.com/pgachampionship/2004/ ) methinks... Not that it's a bad thing to emulate by any means though.
Luc, I will say that while the inspiration for RedGate likely came from several arenas, it mostly emulates their original circa-2002 table-based designed (for which I am/was responsible): http://www.redgategolf.com/v1/home/
Any design cues from the PGA is pure coincidence, though I'll certainly welcome being mentioned in the same breath with that excellent work.
The only thing that throws me off is the lucida font. I mean, really. It looks terrible on windows without clear type. I just don't understand why people use it.
Thanks Jack. With the vast majority of my audience Windows/PC based (and a good bit of them still on legacy versions of Windows) the typography issue you mention is very much a concern of mine. I haven't been able to duplicate this issue on my PC, but I do not doubt it exists. I'll work out a solution soon, and it may just ultimately mean reverting to Arial on all platforms.
The site is still very much a work-in-progress, but poor typography (at any stage) is unacceptable on my part.

I see that you've updated the font. I have to say it looks much better on my machine now. I don't have time to post a screenshot right now, but here is an article that goes into the issue.
I really like the rest of the design
This is a very fine looking website. Also peforms beautifully. Is there a reason why it isn't featured in the gallery?
The site is still very much a work-in-progress (many design and usability features to be added and some code, particularly from the database calls, to be cleansed). Had I not had an April 1st deadline for their tournaments, I actually wouldn't have launched it quite yet.
Maybe one day it could be gallery-worthy in some sense, but not yet.
