What is XSL?

Remember the good old days, when the internet consisted of nothing more than a few simple websites formatted in basic HTML? Web design was so easy.

Umm. Yeah. I agree with everything said exept the part that said "most web browsers are now capable of understanding XSL". That is true what he said, but if we are talking about doing the tranform on the client side, its unbelievably inconsistent between modern browsers today. Not to mention when you view source (again if we are talking about doing the tranform on the client side) all the xml data is plainly visable to anyone. This might contain data that you dont want to be public. I work with xsl that does the transform on the server side and its fantastic.

Not very useful article really, a nice definintion but no practical implementation. I started with XSLT from this article:

Pretty clear, with useful (working) examples and covers how XSLT fits into a larger framework.
