IMHO the redesign wasnt particularly good. Like many others have said, it looks like a domain holding site. The Trebuchet font I'm not a fan of either.

lol, i think it's a nice improvement, but yeah in terms of an upgrade looks like they just went from version 1 to version 1.05
There are several tools that allow you to search the site without ever visiting the homepage. I think the subpages do the job better than the previous design. Something to keep in mind.
the home page looks better, more compact and easier to use, but the definition pages make it harder to visually separate the different definitions than before -- bad use of white space in my opinion...
I like the upgrade. It's a lot sleeker than the old one, but the usefulness of the new design hasn't increased any. I agree that the white spaces aren't too beneficial. Oh well, it's a start.
