holy crap, phil, stop spamming style galla with your stupid blog posts. No one cares about your stupid fantasy crap.

Well Jason, this is only the second time I've ever done it. The last time was about a month ago, and that time the stylegala public news was the only thing I submitted it to, and it ended up going spectacularly well by my standards (#1 on Digg.com, #2 on del.icio.us/popular). So, I guess someone cares.

If this doesn't qualify as public news, then it should be deleted. If it's deleted, then I'll never post anything of this calibre again.

But is a blog that has proven to be well liked on the internet, posted once a month in the public news section of "style galla" (sic) spamming? I don't think so.

Well, gee Phil, if anyone did care about your "Fantasy Web Dvlpment" (sic) , there wouldn't be zero comments on your great post.

If you actually spent time to read the rules:

• No advertising - not even if your site validates. None.

• No personal posts. Not even if your sister plays tuba.

StyleGala wants "great articles, inspiring design and important news for the community." Not some wierd fantasy dream of yours.

Do us all a favour by not infesting StyleGala public news with your pointless articles.

I find the 'no advertising' rule pointless since anyone who posts anything worthwhile and genuine is advertising something. 10 out of 10 posts are advertising something - directly or indirectly.

Phil, I love the fantasy web dev idea. Trying to find suitable developers for projects I have but no takers, possibly 'cos I aint pushing the right buttons such as Web 2.0, social netwanking or whatever hyped up bollox is in vogue his week. So, my projects will remain fantasies until I acquire the necessary skills myself to set them free and one of them is so Web 3.0 it's not funny!

Thank you, Shotoshi!

In regards to the "No Advertising" policy: It is in reference to the page in question, whether or not it contains ads (google adsense), etc, I believe. Not whether or not the submitter is advertising the site submitted, which is the very nature of the public news.
