Hasn't it always been?
I love the new site, really nice :)
I'm not really impressed... when you have sites like stylegala, web standards awards, cssbeauty.
The only good thing is quantity... but looking at the sites, there are many that really suck.
Not sure I am willing to go through a thousand sites to find only a few that are really really good.
Not terribly impressed and the sponsored links full of "Lipsum" are a little bit strange to say the least!
Uh, Ben, Michael? Got anything constructive to say?
I like it - simplistic, not overly fancy. Well done.
Exciting! Looks really good. Glad you finally made the move away from that brual domain name (nv30...whatever it was).
Excellent, glad to see it has a new home. Good content and design.
StyleGala is going down the shitter fast due to the mass of negative comments given on every single Public News item. No wonder people are popping up new css showcases, it distracts from this childrens playpen over here.
It's quite clear from the distinct lack of new Gallery submissions and non-moderation of such comments that there's a serious lack of interest with the owners and contributors to StyleGala. What once was the mecca of CSS Showcases is now spammer 101 central.
So this is the new nv30? I was wondering why I stopped getting hits from there.. Nice work with the new site. I like the technorati integration.
Ryan what ben and Muchael said, was not a negative comment. just because they dont share you opinion doesn't devalue thier comments.
contrustive critism is not always going to sound peaches and cream. the fact that they did simple say, "ah this is stupid"
saya lot about their comments. I think people here only want to hear possitive comments. now i know this may sound funny coming from me vs my comments in the 'table vs css' discussion, but if so you miss the point. being rude and obnoxious is totally different from saying that you just plain dont like something, and everyone should be welcome to that.
Chris, i dont think Stylegala is going down the shitter, i do share some of your feelings about whats going on , but i think if you look arround the whole standards boat is slowing down do to more 'weight' meaning that as more people come into the fold the boat is being glutted with passengers and weighed down.
if you look arround mort of these CSS galleries have the
have the same sites in them. [ please excuse my mispellings ]
I think it's really great, I love the technorati thing, and they way it shows similar sites that I'd want to see. Great system, great design, and a site I'll be visiting a lot more than StyleGala now!
