IE/Flash nightmare

i am surprised there is so little talk about this, this is a severe blow to Flash developers. Almost all pages with flash content have to rewritten with a javascript hack.

This was a problem for our site, as Ads are main source of revenue. So when the Flash/IE fix went into effect, our ads required 2 clicks to make 1 click. Huge problem, but we implemented a fix and everything is fine now. Still Im sure its been a huge issue across the web!

I feel bad for all the people who run around and recode their crap because Microsoft tells them to.

I'm so glad MS isn't my daddy.

This is the easiest one I've found to use. 20 seconds and I was back on track.

With 85% of our traffic coming from IE users, Microsoft is our Daddy. What else can you do but make sure your site looks wonderful in IE!

This is not new, and there has been much talk about it. Microsoft and Adobe have repeatedly warned us for the last 3 months about changes to Active Content in IE. Because there is freedom of browsers, IE will always account for 80~90% of the traffic. It's our job to display it correctly.

I more interested in seeing the end of tag soup (html/xhtml) than blaming browsers.
