Interesting, blockbuster.com just redesigned to 1024 res, and updated their site UI (very apple-ish)

Nice design, but take a look at the source...what a mess!!!
apple-ish = referring to the navigation up at the top (columned, left to right).
didn't check the code; but it's blockbuster - not suprising that it's a mess.
Did they use ever CSS and JS file known to man...
JS view returns a long list of files... for blockbuster's site

The top select (apple-ish) works horrible, reloads the entire site. Thats not nice on a 872 kb total-size site, the only thing i wanted to view was there movie categories, instead i had to load a bunch of images and there bongous code.
Oh my - it does look awful and the code....
That is just horrible. I'd call it a downgrade, not an upgrade of their site. Amazing...I wonder how much this cost them.

Could use some AJAX to cut out the load time on the top navigation.
I would not say apple-ish, but I would say Netflix-ish. A lot of similar elements to Netflix.
Maybe this will revive their flagging company... Haha, maybe not.
