The project to build a free (as in freedom) Mac-like OS is dead. The team says it has failed to achieve its goals in 4 years of operation, and moves further from achieving these goals as time goes on.

wow not only did they close down but did so very bitterly, i guess if i felt i had wasted 4 years of my life i would be bitter too... college comes to mind :)
sad indeed, but i guess that's one of those risks OS brings along...
