Ah, what better place to take advice from than a place that breaks 4 of its own rules?

(For those counting: 4, 5, 6, and 12 are the most commonly broken rules on the site)

That was perhaps the most pointless article I've ever read. Like I'm going to "avoid italics" and keep my paragraphs short so that my site is accessible to dyslexics?? Get real.

Yea, it's def. hard to take that article seriously when you youself's don't even abide by them and that just proves how it makes no sense to do it.

Yes - It was an article, and not origonally by Accessibility101, and not meant to be representative of either how we build websites or how http:www.accessibility101.org.uk is built.

However we posted the article with the intention of modifying our design to suit what we feel are useful tips to make your site a bit more user friendly to people with dyslexia.

And we are in the process of doing this.

What should we have done? Not posted the article because we ourselves did not currently follow all the recommendations? How would we generate discussion?

I think people go too far to make their sites accessible to everyone... And this is proof of that.

Why don't you tell authors to start writing for dyslexic people?

Face it, you can't keep everyone happy.

Greg...I do agree! Accessible Website Design is basically Good Website Design.

It's an interesting take on the article. I will get it rewritten.

Thanks for the feedback, guys.
