thanks, this is really a great page.
It's nothing more than a link directory, which pops open a window for every article or resource to retain the user.
The popup window is stripped of all user controls, very bad usability... yuck.
Your suggestion was noted, and all pop-up windows now feature all user controls.
Thankyou for your feedback, it is very much appreciated.
"latest tutorials and scripts"... and it's a bunch of google ads... This is getting out of hand.
Funny... this site is somewhat related to the standards reboot site. I wonder if it's the same owner, or owners.
haha that mostinspired site also has some of the same ads as that standardsreboot site and the dhtml one... Ridiculous!
They are totally taking advantage of stylegala to advertise their sites... man
yea the google ads up top are a bit sneaky but looks to be a good resource.
Nate, I totally take responsibility for self posting, as for the banner ads, those two individuals are helping me spread the word about the reboot.
I am also a moderatorhere and we have talked at length between all the admins about what can get a 'pass' as for as self posting. and sites that maybe helpful to a broad range of designers certainly fall into that category as do the other two. trust me there are at least 6 admins that have deletion power of the public news. if they thought that it was being taken advantage of they would/have been deleting items.
P.S. we are not the same owners and are not affilated in any other way beyond trading banner ads. I'm not trying to 'disown' anyone, i jsut don't want the masses thinking there is some kind of conspiracy to spam the news going on.
I personally don't care if there are the same ads. A good resource is a good resource. Who cares who owns it or runs it or is affiliated with it.
I haven't come across any other AJAX/DHTML link portal and find it useful. Since all these scripts are spread across several sites it would take ages to find something that I'm looking for. It makes it simplier.
