McDonalds Brand

Is the new brand positioning of McDonalds a good thing or a bad thing? Read this design review.

I like their new branding with out the gross 70's red and yellow combo's everywhere ... but they are going to lose instant street visibility in large cities. You'll always notice a McDonald's in the suburbs ... but on a busy street in NYC or London its going to be hard to notice those little golden arches on a gray slab.

I guess its all about image ... I of course will never be going to McDonald's for their salads and fruit parfaits. :)
