Nice tutorial, but who really uses a tag cloud in their daily internet use? Seriously, I don't. I find them functionally pretty useless on a site in terms of finding information I am looking for...so other than giving a site that whole "web 2.0 sheen" not sure of the usability of the technique..

Brian, bravo!

"web 2.0 sheen" - it is exactly what I see around.

But, if you have a little bit time to play-- it is fun to try something "like web2.0"

I played with my color "blending" code and I needed a "subject".

"tag cloud" worked for me...:)

One way to use colors in your cloud tag:

- select a main color, assign it to the biggest font;

- "blend" this color for smaller fonts.
