A really good article / entry. More of that!

This article reminds me of another article a few years ago that compared the Bush vs Kerry presidential campaign logos (bumper stickers, banners, etc.) that reflected the candidates themselves. On the one hand you had Bush with a big bold font with good kerning suggesting a clear bold vision/discipline and on the other you had Kerry with a poorly chosen font and bad kerning suggesting a wishy washy vision.

Articles such as this illustrate the importance of good visual design...I like it...I agree with Alexander.

Perhaps we should see which sites validate, and those that don't will clearly be liars. Truth as in life, they will no doubt all be liars, since that's how politics seem to be.

Carlos, that better had been sarcasm.

Ben; David, neither article was political... it just describes the impression given by the design. Although I am a political junkie and go against many of my peers (not a sheeple), I didn't add my opinion in my previous post...it was the conclusion of the original author...the original author was not a Bush supporter.

Ty, the article is about the visual impression...not semantics or standards.

Now...my opinion: Kerry has been and continues to be wishy washy...I was a Democrat.

I was the one being sarcastic, somewhere there's someone who would make a great politician, who is not a liar, but a damn fine crook instead!!! lol.

The article Carlos is referring to was an op-ed piece in the New York Times -- here's a link to a that illustrated it.

aliotsy, my memory must be failing...I remember the source and graphic a little differently...It must of been a blog commenting on that...thanks for link to this though. I will use it as reference for general design.

Ty, sorry, I didn't pick up on the sarcasm...in that light your comment was funny.
