Standards Reboot

It's that time again. 'Rebooting' your website? Then join up, and put your skills to the test, and possibly learn something to boot. (no pun intended)

I appreciate your efforts. But it's still kind of sad to see CSS Reboot just die off like that. The site hasn't been updated since their last reboot. So it's good that the concept lives on.

Thanks Ed, I appreciate it, I had been advocating that the idea is bigger than any one person, and I happened to be in a unique position to actually pull off continuing it, having had success with logopond, there was a built in audience.

I am also sad to see CSS Reboot die off, I really think between the two site we could have brought some respect back to the event. And even then have some leverage to go back to the original site May1stReboot and do some things. but we will have to see where it goes from here.

Standards Reboot is up and running and I have a couple ideas that I believe people will like this go round, I already have some sponsors on board giving away some stuff (Color Schemer and Crazy Egg) so I invite everyone and anyone interested to join in.

Hi David I was trying to find the email on the site to report a bug, but I couldn't find it so I'll post here;

I was a registered user the first time but forgot my pass, I went on the "Forgot Pass" link , got the email but the link below got me a redirection to the site with a error:

Warning: runaction(sections/users/act.passwordreset.php) [function.runaction]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/1592/domains/standardsreboot.com/html/engine/fraction.inc.php on line 42

Fatal error: runaction() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'sections/users/act.passwordreset.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php-4.4.4-6/share/pear') in /home/1592/domains/standardsreboot.com/html/engine/fraction.inc.php on line 42

Hey jackasses

No one ever said you couldn't redesign your site in CSS or XHTML or whatever else you want. The original May 1 Reboot is about redesigning your site, in any medium. Yes, there happens to be a lot of Flash sites on the list, but that doesn't mean you are excluded. If your shit is good, it will win.

Join the May1Reboot.com, make a great CSS site and get recognition. These other dudes just want your Google ad clicks.
