Definitely not news.
Oh come on lighten up it's a funny article and pretty insightful I would love to show this to some clients.
I am not denying the humor, just whether it is news or not. Maybe it belongs in foo, but not the front page.
Besides, news is usually best when it's new. Not old.
it's not news, and it's not insightful. the joke is at least 4 years old. the linked article is plagiarism. (posting an entire source article without attribution).
and as an architect, this isn't as wild and outlandish as you'd like to think. this is an example of design professions being similar, not different. web design is not "OMG so much harder than other design".
