What about this site is standards compliant??? They have 16 HTML errors and 3 Accessibility errors?
SPAM!
I need to start running an accessibility checker then. The W3c doesn't point that stuff out. The errors aren't major, simple fixes, perhaps it's a cms generating the errors.
There don't seem to be any image alt tags, that's bad.
I really thought the site was somewhat inspiring. I'm somewhat inspired to be a "freak". LOL. All in all not a bad looking site. Sites start popping up in the public news, esp. when nothing's been added to the SG gallery in awhile :(
There isn't much worth being reviewed...I checked through about 50 yesterday. You'd be surprised at how many forums and out of the box word press installs we get submitted.
I just came across the site on CSSMania and thought it was worth posting up for everyone else.
I didn't run any kind of checks before posting, but the overall look of the site is pretty nice.
Why is everyone so quick to say "OMG SPAM!", I have no affiliation with Ripley's so don't be so quick to throw the SPAM card.
A lot of people try to use this area to promote their own sites. So when something is posted that say "They Went Standards!" and they have errors all over the page, it is easier to assume it is spam. There is so much floating around I get a little spam happy.
