Thanks for the write-up, I've never quite pulled off the varied nav like that all in one image, and wound up using individual images for each link (less math). Either way is a sweet technique, and using image replacement where you aren't using a sliding doors technique you most of the time will see a flicker, where no image is present. Sites that have hover problems like that get written off as low-quality sites sometimes.

What about the domain name ghettoCooler.net could it be that brown bags aren't just for lunch anymore?!? lol $#!

Thankfully you won't see any flickrs unless you're in ie6 and have cache disabled. Even then, there's a simple way to combat that. But I'm not too concerned w/ an ie6 disabled cache user.
