Is it OK, now that IE6 is almost behind us?

Yesterday I noticed a rather famous blog site(and I forget which), using pixels for font sizing, and wondered what was the reason for their madness. They had something like a base font of 12 pixels and 75% used for the body text so that would be 9 pixels actually. I think it's true that there's absolutely nothing wrong with pixels and everything wrong with IE6. There is a million ways to do relative font sizes and layouts, and EM's do have there eccentricities to the uninitiated designers math skills.
